PLAYER OF THE MONTH
The Jack Petchey Foundation
This organisation is Grant Making Trust that supports clubs, schools and communities that work with young children. Each month, the club nominates a player for the prize. The club also receives £200 and the winner of the month has to choose how to spend it on the club. To win this award, you have to be at least 11 years old and must have done something particularly impressive while at the club. In October every year, there is a presentation evening in which all the winners of the past year receive medals. The night is very enjoyable with exhibitions of table tennis from the juniors and also a match between the seniors. Here is a list of previous winners.
