Coaching Staff
Lesley Radford
Ex-International player having represented England on approximately 75 occasions both at junior and senior level. Winner of the European junior girls title in 1962, and a member of the team which won the European team event in 1965. Lesley is a level 3 coach with approximately 30 years experience of coaching at all levels from Essex seniors to beginners
regularly.
Peter Radford
Winner of the English closed vets singles and a regular member of the Essex county first team during the 1960s. Peter is a level 2 coach and has over thirty years experience of coaching, including coaching the Essex senior men's team during the 1970s.
Mike Read
Mickey is probably our most experienced coach, being the chief coach at Cranleigh throughout the 1980s. His patience and expertise are second to none. On a Monday night he concentrates on training the girls, and the club now boast one of the largest girls squads in the country.
Feizal Mauthoor
Feizal has been a regular division one player in the Romford, Dagenham and Ilford leagues for the last twenty years. Winning the League titles on a number of occasions. Feizal is a level 2 coach, and has been coaching for a number of years.
Matthew Stubbington
Matthew has been a regular player at Fellows Cranleigh for the past few years. Now he also coaches the beginners at Cranleigh. He has
had some success over the years as a player being ranked consistently in the London top 20 as a junior. He has also collected a few league titles.
Sarah Read
Sarah has been playing at the club since it moved to Barking Abbey School. With a thorough understanding of the game, she now concentrates on coaching and providing support for our girls squad.
